About Ashley Erich

Born and raised in Burke County, I’ve always had a deep connection to the foothills of North Carolina. My husband and I moved to Caldwell County in 2017 after purchasing our second home—a place that quickly became the heart of our family’s story. In 2023, we sold that beloved home and moved to the East Coast to Morehead City, NC. During our time there, we made wonderful friends and fell in love with the Down East community. While our coastal experience was unforgettable, our roots have always remained deep in Caldwell County.

I married my husband at 19, and together we’ve built a full and busy life raising and homeschooling our four beautiful children. Before real estate, I was a licensed cosmetologist for 10 years—a career that allowed me to connect with people and help them feel confident in themselves. As our family grew, I stepped away from cosmetology to become a stay-at-home mom, a season of life I have cherished deeply. Though I still hold my cosmetology license, my passion has shifted toward helping families find homes that bring the same sense of comfort, belonging, and love that my own family has experienced.

My journey into real estate began after selling our home in Happy Valley—a home that was truly overflowing with life and love. Within those walls were countless memories: laughter, snuggles, the sound of little feet running through the halls, and even the place where our son was born. That home wasn’t just where we lived; it was part of who we were. When we sold it, we didn’t just let go of a house—we let go of a piece of our hearts. That experience opened my eyes to just how much a home can mean, and it sparked a deep passion in me to help others through that same emotional journey.

Today, I’m devoted to helping families find the kind of home that fills their hearts the way ours once did—a place where memories are made and life unfolds.

In my free time, you’ll usually find me at home with my family, where life feels the most peaceful. I have a deep love for wildlife, plants, and all living things, and I volunteer with Carolina Waterfowl Rescue, helping care for and rescue birds across Caldwell County and surrounding areas.
